In 2017, we partnered with other Colfax BIDs to advocate for general obligation bond-funded pedestrian improvements. The $8 million voter- approved project in our district will address safety concerns and add streetscaping along Colfax and in the Mayfair Town Center. Our district streetscape plan is designed to make the area more attractive, safer and easier to get around for the thousands of people who work, live, shop and socialize here. Improvements will include new pedestrian lights, street trees, trash cans and bike racks. The project is currently scheduled for installation along with Bus Rapid Transit improvements in late 2025 to late 2026.
